These young cats are currently growing, showing, or being evaluated for a possible future role in our program. A title or beautiful conformation may open the door, but breeding is never presumed. Health, temperament, structure, and maturity all matter before any cat becomes part of the next generation of Maine Street Coons.

Starling is a beautifully feminine young girl with a sweet, mild nature and an extraordinary sensitivity to the people around her. A striking black smoke tortie with white, she is soft, expressive, affectionate, and deeply connected to her people.
Starling is very much a Velcro kitty. She thrives on physical affection and expects her share of cuddles every day, happiest when she can be tucked up beside someone she loves. Nothing makes her happier than climbing into bed with her people, and she shares an especially close bond with Raeven.
Her first adult show marked an exciting milestone when she earned her TICA Champion title, confirming the quality of her conformation as she continues to mature.
But a title alone does not determine a cat’s future in our breeding program. At Maine Street Coons, beauty and conformation matter only alongside sound health and an exceptional temperament. Born December 29, Starling will undergo her HCM echocardiogram and hip evaluation around her first birthday before we contemplate any future role for her as a mother.
For now, she is exactly what she should be — a cherished young girl cuddling her people and giving us every reason to be excited about what may lie ahead.
